Tyler Technologies to Provide Enterprise Resource Planning Solution in Suisun City, CA

PLANO, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:TYL) announced that it has signed an agreement with Suisun City, Calif., for several of Tyler’s solutions, including Professional ERPpowered by Incode®; Business permits and licenses, powered by EnerGov; enterprise asset management; Time and Presence; and content manager.

The city uses an old enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that doesn’t have much flexibility for customization. The city wanted to make the entire ERP system more centralized, rather than using multiple vendors for its asset management and authorization needs. After evaluating Tyler’s solutions, the city felt that Tyler offered a strong suite of software that all interacted with each other and would make city departments more effective and efficient.

“We are excited to bring our staff a contemporary ERP solution that will streamline business operations and minimize redundancy in our offices,” said Lakhwinder Deol, CFO of Suisun City. “We are confident in the caliber of Tyler’s products and their strong partnership, and we look forward to launching this implementation with them.”

Once implemented, the city hopes to achieve the following key benefits:

  • Ability to provide effective services to the community

  • Avoid manual work by having a more centralized and modern ERP system

  • Provide better infrastructure for employees so they can work effectively remotely

In addition to its core functionality, Tyler’s ERP Pro solution offers over 50 built-in modules, so it can deliver exactly what the city needs. In this case, the city will manage time and attendance, permits and licenses, and financial management. Staff will be able to access all important information from anywhere 24/7, supporting a remote working environment.

“Our real-time, integrated solutions that are being implemented across the city will create efficiencies, bring greater transparency, and make it easier to make critical business decisions,” said Dane Womble, president of the local government division of Tyler. “We look forward to empowering their staff to use our solutions to streamline their business operations. Plus, with My Civic, citizens can more easily interact with the city through our built-in citizen engagement mobile app.

Suisun City is located in Solano County, California. It has about 30,000 inhabitants.
